British rock icons Oasis have officially announced their expansive 2027 world tour. The much-anticipated schedule includes 38 shows across the globe. This follows the immense success of their surprise comeback last year.
Liam and Noel Gallagher, the once-estranged brothers, will perform extensively. Their itinerary features 11 homecoming dates in Manchester. Moreover, fans can anticipate stops in major cities like Glasgow, Paris, and Boston.
The European leg promises multiple stops for eager fans. Oasis will play two nights in Munich on July 2nd and 3rd. Similarly, Barcelona hosts the band on July 10th and 11th. Furthermore, the Stade de France in Paris will see performances on July 23rd and 24th. Lastly, Rome is set for July 29th and 30th.
The massive tour begins in Glasgow in May 2027. It concludes with four shows in Knebworth that September. This finale marks 30 years since their legendary gigs at the venue, north of London.
The band, known for Britpop anthems like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” teased this second reunion for weeks. On Monday, they posted the announcement on social media. They encouraged fans to “start the celebrations!”
“After a period of reflection, ‘The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History’ has declared itself fit for purpose,” the band stated. They added that it “will once again return to lift the spirits of the people.” This confirms the scale of the Oasis 2027 world tour.
Securing tickets requires prompt action from fans. Registration is open now until 4pm BST on September 17th. This is the only way to gain a chance at purchasing entry.
Successful registrants will receive a unique code. This code grants access to the ticket sale, scheduled between September 25th and 27th. The system aims to minimize long queuing times and combat ticket touting.
The Gallagher brothers initially reunited for a global tour in August 2024. This ended their famous 15-year feud. That tour drew over two million attendees across 41 shows. It spanned Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America, generating approximately £300 million ($400 million).
However, the previous reunion was not without controversy. Some fans voiced criticism over sudden price increases. Additionally, exorbitant resale prices prompted an investigation by the UK’s competition watchdog.
